Comparison

PropCopy vs PropSyncX

Two trade copiers built for prop firm futures traders. PropSyncX casts the wider net on platforms — TopstepX, Rithmic, TradingView automation — while PropCopy focuses on deep prop-firm safety rails, a native NinjaTrader 8 add-on, and native mobile apps. The right choice depends on your platform mix today and which gaps matter most.

Short version

Pick PropCopy if

  • Most of your accounts are on Tradovate prop firms (Apex, Tradeify, MyFundedFutures, TakeProfit, TradeDay) and you don’t need TopstepX or Rithmic web support today.
  • You want a native NinjaTrader 8 add-on with unlimited local accounts, not a cloud bridge.
  • You want pricing transparency upfront — public tiers from $9.99/mo, no hidden plans.
  • You want native iOS and Android apps with push notifications, not just mobile-responsive web.
  • Bracket order handling matters to you and you want real-time mid-trade stop adjustments propagated to every follower.

Pick PropSyncX if

  • You need TopstepX support today (TopStep’s migration platform). PropCopy’s TopstepX integration is in development.
  • You need Rithmic cloud support today (for AMP, Discount Trading, NinjaTrader Brokerage, or Rithmic-routed Apex). PropCopy supports Rithmic via the NT8 add-on but not yet in the web server.
  • You want TradingView alert webhooks to trigger copy trades. PropCopy is building this.
  • You’re fine with a 7-day free trial (promo FREE7) and don’t mind that pricing isn’t publicly listed.

Where PropSyncX is the better fit

Platform breadth. PropSyncX supports TopstepX (TopStep’s next-generation platform that’s replacing their Tradovate offering), Rithmic in the cloud, and TradingView alert webhook automation. If any of those three are critical to how you trade today, PropSyncX is ready and PropCopy isn’t — those integrations are on the PropCopy roadmap but not shipped.

TradingView automation. Their TradingView alert webhook → copy trade flow is a real feature for chart-based traders who want strategy automation. PropCopy is building the same capability but it’s not live yet.

Free trial. 7-day trial with promo code FREE7. Lets you test before committing. PropCopy is currently waitlist-only.

Where PropCopy is the better fit

Native NinjaTrader 8 add-on. PropCopy ships a real NT8 plugin that runs locally inside NinjaTrader with unlimited local accounts ($29.99/mo). PropSyncX’s NinjaTrader support is a cloud bridge. For traders who already run NT8 for charting and ATM strategies, the local add-on is a meaningful difference — lower latency, no cloud round-trip per fill, full access to ATM strategy management.

Bracket order handling. PropCopy explicitly markets full OCO bracket copying with real-time mid-trade stop adjustments — move your stop to break-even on the master and every follower’s stop moves in real time. PropSyncX’s site lists bracket and stop-loss/take-profit support generally but doesn’t market the OCO and mid-trade adjustment behavior specifically. For prop firm traders where a missed stop adjustment is a blown account, the explicit guarantee matters.

Native mobile apps. PropCopy ships iOS and Android apps with real-time dashboards, push notifications, and biometric authentication. PropSyncX is mobile-responsive web only. For traders who manage positions from their phone during the day, the difference is felt.

Pricing transparency. PropCopy lists every plan publicly on the homepage: $9.99 Dashboard, tiered Web Copier from $19.99 to $99.99, NT8 add-on at $29.99. PropSyncX hides pricing behind login. For a SaaS in 2026, transparent pricing is table stakes.

Per-account safety rails. PropCopy’s daily loss limits, max position size, and copy pause toggle are configurable per follower account — built around the reality that prop firms have hard rule breaches that close accounts. PropSyncX lists “risk management” generally; the per-account granularity isn’t explicit on their site.

Honest disclosure

PropSyncX currently supports three things PropCopy doesn’t: TopstepX, cloud Rithmic, and TradingView alert webhooks. All three are on the PropCopy roadmap but not shipped at time of writing. If you need any of them today, PropSyncX is the practical choice. If your stack is Tradovate-based prop firms or NinjaTrader 8 (or both), PropCopy is the deeper fit.

The honest verdict

Both products are credible. PropSyncX wins on platform breadth right now — TopstepX, Rithmic, TradingView. PropCopy wins on depth in the Tradovate + NT8 stack, native mobile apps, transparent pricing, and explicit prop-firm rule enforcement. If your accounts are spread across multiple platforms PropCopy doesn’t support yet, PropSyncX is the better short-term answer. If your accounts are on the platforms PropCopy supports, the deeper integration and mobile experience make PropCopy the more focused tool.
